Is an epilator okay to use on the full bikini area region?

I have pale skin and dark, coarse hair and I like to keep my bikini area completely shaved(hair bugs me), but I have coarse, fast-growing hair and it HURTS to shave it every day or every other day. I’ve been wanting to try an epilator since I literally have to shave my legs, armpits, etc., every day to keep them decent. Shaving has gotten to be a real pain in the you-know-what though and I’m sick of it.

Is an epilator worth it? I know it’ll hurt, but bring on the pain, I’m sure I can tolerate it. Have any of you tried one?

I also want to know if an epilator is a good idea if I want to get the hair laser removal in a few months since it makes the hair less coarse and more fine. Will that get in the way at all since coarse hair is best for the laser removal or will it still be fine?

I really would like to know the answer to all these questions I have though before I spend money on an epilator.

Almost every girl has to shave daily in order to not have stubble showing regardess if its your legs, underarms, bikini area. An epilator really should not be used at home on your bikini area. Your skin is very sensative down there and there are tons of nerve endings, if you want drastic measures to remove pubic hair you need to see a proessional. Waxing is a better way, and you stay smooth for up to a wee afterwards.

I agree with Mandyloo, I’ve had experience with this too. I tried it once, and it hurt like hell, it was a slow torture. And afterwards, I got so many more bumps than when shaving.
