Should I get an electric or normal guitar?

Should I get an electric or normal gutiar for my birthday and how hard is each one to play.

yea it depends what you wanna play…I have both.. acoustic strings are usually harder to press making learning a bit more difficult but can really make your fingers stronger.. I would recomend an acoustic cause you just gotta tune it then away ya go..if you get an electric ya gotta get an amp and play around with treble and bass and mids and other stuff that may be too confusing starting out.

What of music are you wanting to play??? Accustic guitars have a beautiful sound and can travel with you w/o the need of power…but electric guitars are lots of fun to play and are not as cumbersome.

if your barely starting to play guitar then get an acoustic

Well, each of those guitars take time to learn how to play, both of them are pretty much the same diffuclty to learn, but the electric guitar requires a amplifier, and a regular guitar, does not, so it depends on whichever you want.
