Ear piercing questions.

I was thinking about getting my tragus pierced, but I’m not sure which side to do first, any suggestions? Also, how much does it hurt? Should I take something to dull the pain before hand? Also, how do you pierce ears at home? (like your ear lobes?)

I just got my tragus piercing done on Sunday..I don’t like two of them so I just got one done;my left one..it personally did not hurt at all I’m not going to lie when I was laying on the bed I was sweatings bricks but then there was nothing to feel nervous about..but you should really get it done p.s the only time it hurted was when I was cleaning it the same day before going to bed but it’s a hurt that you can control..

About the ear lobes I have 2 on each ear the first one got it done like when I was 5 months of being born so I’ve had it my whole life.. My second one I got it about 5 years ago and I took a earimg with a pointy end and told my cousin to do it for me..but for the tragus it’s really dangerous if you do it at home.. I did it professionally and I suggest you do it professionally too..

The pain caused by the piercing and the application of its jewelry varies from person to person. The needle is driven through very little skin and thicker cartilage than that found in the helix (another common piercing site), but less than that of the conch. Although the tragus itself has no nerve endings, some piercees experience pain.

I peired my ears with a safty pen at home. the main thing is to make sure there even. and make sure everything is sterilized. but I used neosporine on the needle to help it go through
