Dyed my hair red. Now its fading. Help?

I had light blonde hair and I decided to dye it red I used xl live passion red hair dye But its faded like after a week :/ Its gone pinky Anyone have any idea’s how to make it last longer? Or any better hair dyes? Much appreciated

I am blond and dyed mine a few weeks ago to a red…well I to have pinkish colored hair now. I really wanted mine to be red as I am tired of the blond but from where I hear it will always wash out easily. I could keep dying it every week but thats not going to be good for it. Weird how the red hair color does not last.

Dont leave it on for longer! The longer you leave it in, the more it hurts your hair. Leave it in for too long, and you’ll hair will fall out! Try using regular permanent hair dye. There are some reds, and they dont fade for awhile.

I use hair dye that comes from herbal essence, it comes with a conditioner that you use once a week and it helps slow the fading and keep it bright.

r you sure you left the dye in for long enough before you washed it out? try leaving the dye in for longer and see if that makes a difference

hi there im sorry to tell you but the live hair dye always fades after about a week to 10 days im a hairdresser and red is the only colour thats fades really quick I have black hair and I have found great bright red hair you just clip it under your own hair and that will never fade and you can have them for as long as you like and they come in all great colours aswell
