I have REALLY dry skin, to the point where it starts to peel sometimes around my nose, mouth and eyebrows, yes I know disgusting. I've tried everything, and NOTHING works. whats a good moisturizer, and face wash?! I have minor acne, so nothing to heavy for the moisturizer. Salicylic acid makes my face worse, so no face wash with that in it. And no proactive! thanks p.s, the winter makes it more dry, in the summer my face is fine
Neutrogena everyone!! welcomr to the world of girls with sensetive skin! im 14 and suffer the same thing. My face used to peel, it used to be red and patchey, and it used to feel like CRAP. but then my bff recomended neutrogena intense moisturizer and its oil free and it goes on clear and smooth and has no smell. And if you cand aford it(as its 12 odd bucks) I know my mom freaked but if that happens, Dove is a product created for teens and the bottle is sooo cute!! but make sure you get strong ones!!!
For dry skin, it is always good to use a moisturizer balanced. Using a normal moisturizer will make your skin oily and dull in summers. It is therefore better to use oil free moisturizer which would moisturize your skin naturally and at the same time prevent it from being dry. Try Dermasome Hydrate from Angellift Cosmetic. It really worked for me.
I have dry skin on my cheecks and somewhat acne for me I use proactive and clinique mosterizer , its great & dosent make your face gressy . they both work very good . but once you start on proactive you need to stick to it & wash you face reguarly.
Proactive is good. But if you use it remember to not just use the lotion but get the moisturizer too or use Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin. It is 100% oil free and has an SPF of 15/
I use a Clean and Clear facewash... it keeps me from breaking out but once my face is dry after showering, my skin is so dry and ashy. Maybe it'll work right for you.
