I want to make fish jerky and I was just wondering if I could use cooked fish in my dehydrator, or if it must be raw. Thanks!

You don't have to cook the fish if you have a dehydrator that heats the air it circulates. If not then I would cook it in a liquid so that the fish will dehydrate evenly. Look into what kind of dehydrator you have first though because some don't heat up the air they use.
It really depends on the dehydrator as to whether or not you cook it. I generally don't cook any meat that I dehydrate but that is because the dehydrator that I use heats the air that it circulates.
You don't need to cook beef ... fish and chicken should be cooked. Removing moisture from the meat doesn't remove all the bacteria in it.
Yes ... actually, you're supposed to cook it first. Dehydrating it doesn't kill all the bacteria.
