drunk driving question
my brother was out last weekend and the following morning he was driving home from his friends house and the guards stopped him and took a breath test. he was still over the limit from the night before, not by much (4units or so) but he was still arrested and has too appear in court in two weeks time. he cant afford to pay a huge fine or loose his license as he needs this to get to and from work. are there any loop holes he can go through or ways that he can plead with the judge not to give him a heavy punishment? I know he was in the wrong but he has learned from his mistake and I just want to help him as much as I can

no, he will have to pay he may be able to get a conditional lic. to drive to work but there are conditions
He can try, but nowadays, the Courts are cracking down (rightly so) on DUI/DWI. He might be able to apply for a hardship license.
