unfortunately, the worst time to drink is the first trimester. They found that woman who drank even as little as one drink per day during on the first 8 weeks had babies with learning and memory abnormalities. Since you drank the first 3 mths or so the baby most likely will have some effects of fetal alcohol syndrome like abnormal facial features, growth retardation, and central nervous system problems. They can have problems with attention span, problem solving, speech, and hearing. It’s good that you stopped drinking, please don’t drink at all anymore!! not even one drink. Tell your doctor that you were drinking and they can probably let you know if the baby is developing properly by giving you an ultrasound. A lot of babies end up with low birth weight. Also, if you are taking any prescription medication, make sure they are safe to take while being pregnant. good luck.

How often and how much were you drinking? Honestly.

nl83 sugar coated it. I just took health for summer school and the baby have probably a 80% chance of being mentally retarded and physically retarded. also even if you had one shot of alcohol or w/e, for your baby its 8 shots of w/e. so that is really bad. so if you drank a lot then sorry to say your kid got 8 times that amount. also you should probably check with your doctor about it soon so that you know if your baby does have any abnormalities. also w/e addictions you have has a good percent your kids will have. so since you had alcohol your son would probably drink. so hopefully you have never done drugs. theres the full truth nothing really sugar coated. hope this helped you, and sorry.
