Dog sitting.
Hello.. My name is Veronica, & I was wondering how much I shud charge a person for dog sitting there pet. They say they want to give me the same amount every week, but I have to poddy train it and teach it some tricks and just play with it all day ..?? So how much should I be charging him??
Well, first of all how long are you babysitting this dog? Are you staying at their house to do this babysitting? In other words, are you babysitting AND housesitting? How old is this pup??
It will take two weeks of complete and TOTAL vigilance to potty train it…depending on it’s age, teaching it “tricks” will be limited…you can’t teach a tiny pup much more than sit and down…and maybe speak if it’s already a “talker”…
The first two weeks would be worth more than the rest of the time…so I’d charge them $150 a week…and if they looked shocked, tell them, that the first two weeks will be worth more, and you’re just spreading that out to allow for the “same amout” every week.

hmmm I never trained or had my own dog so I don’t know. a guess would be $100 a week. or is that a little, or too much? I don’t know hopefully someon else gives you a better answr.
