dog eye problem
I have a 8 year old chihuahua. I have not changed diet. She developed swollen, red eyelids. they water and must itch her cause she keeps scratching at them. What can I do for her? I have 4 dogs and she is the only one to have this issue.
well she’s 8.. she’s getting pretty old. you should take her to the vet and see if she has developed allergies to something. You might NEED to change her food.
look into getting pet insurance… you can find pamphlets at the grocery or the vet.
OR! send your vet an e-mail… they can probably give you advice, and you won’t have to pay for the visit.
That sounds like an allergy, to me. Take her to the Vet…Even without going thru a bunch of tests to see what she’s allergic to, they can give her some eye drops to ease the irritation.
You said you didn’t changer her food…has there been any other changes tho…like new bedding for her, new furniture…even new laundry soap…??

well if I were you I would go straght to the vet as soon as you can incase it gets worse hope your dog gets better.
sounds like allergies to me. try looking up and buying some upperquality dog food WITH NO FILLERS!!!
