Does anyone else have a yorkinese or familiar?

Hi I’m 18 and my husband bought me a yorkinese for our 1 yr aniversary march21 and I was just wondering if anyone had any personal info regarding potential health probs and attitude etc.my puppy is now 11 weeks old and very hyper! But she also is very good!she was crate/paper/doggie door trained all in 2 weeks! She has also learned to stand pretty and shake on command.she’s very tiny and only weighs 1 1/2-2 lbs.another thing is she sits on her butt like a human baby and insists to use a doll highchair to eat?she can also walk or hop quite a distance on her back legs!? And I know that she’s smart b/c when my husband started singing really loud she groaned and stuffef both paws in her ear! She is something else? So any info thanx!

Since this isn’t a true “breed”, but a cross-breed…it’ll have traits of both it’s parents…every puppy in a litter will have more of one, than the other, so there is no way to predict which parent your pup takes after the most…

All you can do is read up on both breeds…Yorshire Terrier and Pekenese so you know what traits you’re looking for, and then watch your pup.

I have a 6 month old Yorkinese named Tokyo. He is very hyper, sweet, smart, and animated. He has the cutest expressions. He looks a lot like a little fluffy lion. He has a very cute face. I think he looks more like a larger, fluffier Yorkie than a Pekinese. He loves people and attention. He sits on his butt like the other posters puppy…very funny. He can do a new trick within minutes of being taught. I am still having trouble fully housebreaking him. I have to really limit his food and water intake. My family and I absolutely love this little guy. He has a personality like a human.

I have a 10 month old Yorkinese named Daisy. She inhereted more of the Pekingese gene than the Yorkie gene. She is moderately hyper, but very loving. She was crate trained in about 3 months. As to her other training she does not like harsh, bossy tones and does better with gentle redirection. She is very independent with a mind of her own, but is fairly easy to redirect. She is going to be a GREAT dog!
