do you believe?

do you believe that when someone says that a promise is a promise that you actually have to do what you promised on or what ?

Answer #1

if they never broke a promise before, but otherwise its really hard to trust them

Answer #2

Generally, you should keep your promises, BUT it depends on what was promised and to whom.

IF fulfilling the promise would be against any of your principles or ethics, then it would be best to think hard on whether or not you are going to do as promised. (And in the future do NOT make this kind of promise.) Realize that this change of mind will possibly break the trust between the two people.

And realize that promises are not something to just throw around at will, or you won’t be believed in the future.

Good Luck!!

Answer #3

I do. you say you promise which means you WILL do it.. they’re counting on you to stick to your word and if you don’t do it.. well, that’s what can break someone’s trust cause you made them believe and you lied.
