Do you need 2 have white things on your tonsils 2 have tonsilitis?

I have swollen tonsils and it hurts 2 swallow, but I have no white things. Is it still a possibility that I have tonsilitis? 4 tonsilits, is it true that they take them out?

Those white spots, I get them all the time even when I’m not sick. But, I can feel them at the back of my tongue so I squeezed it out of my tonsil and it’s like particle buildup from food and what not from getting caught in there and it stinks really bad.

If you have consistent infections, yes. But it’s not a horrible thing. I’ve been less sick since I got my tonsils out.

It could be strep throat, It hurts and tonsils swell, but there are sometimes small white spots on it. they arent very noticeable though.

I get swollen glands a lot it hurts to swollow and eat, last time I had swollow glands it turned into tonsilitus after 3-5 days I dont always get tonsilitus but keep checkin your throat just incase th white appers, just drink plenty of fluids
