Do situps and crunches work for getting off excess fat ?

I have a little bit of fat on my stomach thats driving me crazy - I just want it gone

Do crunches work? a lot of people are saying they don’t, some say they do..

So - do they!?

Answer #1

Yes, crunches and situps help because muscle burns fat. The more muscle you have in an area, the less fat there is. I would suggest doing cardio as well. Running, swimming laps, biking. Women tend to store fat in their lower tummy area. It has to do with hormones. Annoying, I know. For situps and crunches I recommend a balance ball. Sit on it, have your feet on the ground, but make sure your back hardly has any contact with the ball and do situps that way. It’s kinda hard to explain. Sorry lol. Google ab exercises. Theres tons of them there.

are sit ups and crunches the same thing?

Answer #3

You can do sit ups and crunches to your blue in the face trust me. I ran 3 miles every other day and would do any where between 1000 to 1500 situps every night. I could get the toned look that I wanted. One day I came across this book that showed me how to eat healthier then I was. This really worked for me. I cut my sit ups in half and lost more weight because of the foods I was eating. It was crazy. You have to find the foods that your body burns quickier. Check out this site that has the book. Good Luck you can do it!! www.dietsolutionstoday.com
