do nice guys always finish last?

im almost 21, I’ve never dated, had a girlfriend or kissed or had sex or any of that good stuff and heres why, theres only been one girl I’ve ever liked and cared for or had a crush on whatever you want to call it, I’ve felt this way for 9 years, since aug of 2000 when I was just 11 years old, shes gorgeous and way out of my league of course, but shes always been so nice and kind to me and been a friend and she had a boyfriend once for like 4 years and she broke up for good with him and before I could capitalize she got another one, the guy shes currently with, now I know what a lot of you are going to say, just move on or theres plenty of fish in the sea but I dont care I know which fish I want and im willing to wait my entire life if necessary just ask her out and tell her how much she means to me. Some people have called me crazy, some have said its sweet, but im just trying to do whats right for me and not settle for someone that I wouldnt be truely happy with, so I guess what im asking is do you think im doing the right thing or do you think im just crazy

basicly what I meant was do you think its crazy for waiting a decade and plan on continuing to wait, or by some chance am I doing the right thing by doing whatever it takes to get what I want
