What's the difference between Disney XD and Disney Channel?

Like is Disney XD for older kids?

Disney XD is for kids who like action tv shows and things like that. While regular Disney is like Hannah Montana or Good Luck Charlie or something.

There isn’t much of a difference. But, I do notice all the shows that used to play on Disney, have been moved to Disney XD such as Hannah Montana, Wizards of a Waverly Place, and both the Zac and Cody shows.
