Given that I HIGHLY doubt anyone here has had any training in mental health, how about you actually go to people who have spent years actually studying mental health and have research to back up the things they say? Go see a therapist… yes antidepressants work, otherwise they wouldnt be prescribed by doctors

be careful with antidepressants,they are addictive and have side affects ,good idea to try homeopathy first ,as it is non addictive and no side affects, when you don’t need them you don’t even think about them, no withdrawals either..and they are not expensive.

So depending on what type of depression you have you need to let your doctor prescribe you antidepressants for that.

Also anti-depressants can be addictive but if you take them as prescribed you shouldn’t have any problems.Some antidepressents do have side effects and others don’t, you need to find the perfect one to work for you. I have a few family members that struggle with depression. My brother has major depression and is on chronic medication and he is coping perfectly now. I was diagnosed with reactive depression and was on medication for about three months which also helped. But best is to get diagnosed by your doctor.

Roxy25 do you maybe have more info about that homeopathy first. I am interested in finding out bout that, cause I did experience some weight gain when on my anti - depressents and ya. just good to know. :-)
