Deepest secret & my mom

For over 4-5 years now I have held a very dark secret in me,and I think it’s the caus eof my behavior,I haven’t been able to tell my mom and well my dad. They have both asked me if her ex and I mean super ex did anything sexual to me,and well I’m afraid to tell what what really happened between us,oh and not to make matters worse but he’s a registered sex offender against all kids,how should I break it out to her?

Just sit her down and tell her you need to say somthing important, and just let it out. Depending on how bad it is you may be scarred for the rest of your life.

First realize that you getting this out will make you feel better - If it were me I think I’d write it in a letter, things like that can be VERY hard to make a conversation of. Let me know how it goes, I hope the best for you. Good luck!

I would ask her if she has time to talk. Then tell her there have been things you have wanted to tell her but were afraid to talk about. Then let it all out. From that moment on you will be able to move forward with your life, and get the help you need to move forward. If you were my child I would want to know everything, so I could help you. A parent never wants to see their child hurting, or not know that their child is really hurting. Please, tell your mother, she can help you!!! Good Luck.
