Jessica-lee is right. When you cry hard or for an extended period of time, you inhibit oxygen flow to your brain. It's the same as if you overdid it exercising, your body needs time to return to normal so it must rest. I've known several people who have cried until they passed out
I would imagine so. When I think about that, I think about the term "crying yourself to sleep." Crying releases a lot of hormones and emotional drainage so that causes you to be really tired afterwards.
I would imagine the stress of what's being cried about might be more responsible for losing consciousness, rather than the crying itself...
yes, when you cry you dont breath a lot... so your gasping for air...ever notice it? so yes its possible to black out
