What if somebody crushes on their friends dad ?

Crushes happen all the time and they are usually harmless. It can be awkward or embarrassing but most kids go through this sort of thing at some point.

There’s a few things to consider:

1. Is anything ever going to come of it? If so, then the feelings of the friend should be taken into consideration and it should be dealt with in a sensitive manner.
2. What about age? If it’s a simple teenage crush with no chance of anything happening, then there’s no harm - just keep it to yourself, but if you mean to take it further, consider first of all if you are legally old enough to be with an adult.

So could i keep crushing if it made me happy?

I think its unhealthy, its fine to have the crush but get to much thinking bout this crush is a bad idea, u shud find somethings to do to get ur mind off of him, think about the way he is and look for that in boys ur own age, don’t mean to hurt ur feelings if I have, just tryin to say what I think is HEALTHY

There’s nothing wrong with a crush. It’s only unhealthy if it starts to effect how you live your life. For example, not dating for years because you have a crush on someone who you have no chance of being with is unhealthy. Enjoying the excitement of crushing on someone unachievable for a little of bit of time is just fine. Just recognize that you can’t possibly do anything about this given your age.
