Hello, I am taking a business communication class this summer. My group is the HR department for a fictional company. We have 3 major presentations: an informative (information) presentation, a presentation from one of textbook's chapters and an interview.
When real HR departments conduct informative presentations, what are several topics that they discuss or teach to a large group of employees?
They usually discuss things such as helplines available for employees, what medical aid benefits the employees will have, psycological help etc. Anything which helps with the wellness of employess. What you could do is to research one of such topics and give facts about it i.e. mention how important it is to have a HR department as X-number of employees actually suffer from depression and X% of employees get involved in disputes between their employers.
