That's maaaad, 'cause a drunk person would sign anyway. It's like in the movie "Ghost town" with Ricky Gervais. They get him to sign a waver saying the doctors shouldn't be held responsible for killing him for I think 8 minutes, but while he's still under effect from the anaesthesia. He wasn't in his right mind, but he signed all the forms. It's made me really scared of surgery actually .. o.O
Before you sign documents they make you specifically sign something saying you are not under the influence. I've had procedures done and had to sign off that I wasn't under the influence even before I signed the concent forms.
i just googled it it got me curios lol and i gues not if you wer to drunk as long as you do something quick to cancel the contract if you let time pass then its still valid
Yes, it would still count. You could try and contest it in court but you would need solid proof that you were incoherant at the time and didnt know what you were doing.
Yes, unless you were specifically intoxicated by the person wanting you to sign the contract. (we studied this in commercial law). And that may be difficult to prove.
Interesting that it counts. Also, I'm pretty sure each state has a law regarding how old one must be to enter into a binding contract.
In the UK a person has to be 16 before a contract they sign is vaild :) not sure about anywhere else in the world though
You could argue it in court. A contract is not valid if the person was not in their right state of mind.
I don't actually think they do.. but they might not accept applicants who are drunk anyway.
When you enlist in the military drunk do u think theyll take being drunk as an excuse? lol
WOW, I have done this, shoot, but is has been way to long. LOL
