Why not use all the empty buildings? That would create jobs,use the building and we would not be dependent on foreign countries?
LOL, sorry had to laugh as all your questions, as they are more mind challenging then the same standard pregnant, relationship "I hate my mum, dad and sibling" questions on here. :-P..........I think it comes down to cost. At the moment, America isn't doing very well financially, so it would be more feasible to take their business operations overseas, have the power plants set up there. The cost of leasing a building in America, if it is similar to Australia, would not be cheap… The initial layout for any business to start from square one would be phenomenon….Even though times are pretty tough for all American businesses, your currency is still worth a lot when you compare the US dollar to other less developed countries, so it makes sense for corporations to want to invest overseas instead of generating products from here as you cannot guarantee consumers will have the means ($) to switch to energy product.
