Are cסckatiels good pets?

I just bought a cסckatiel and I’m just wanting some advice from owners currently or recently owning some, like favorate treats and toys and if they are family birds or usually a one person bird any advice you can give me would help thanks! :-)

My sister loves hers. It eats a mixture of nuts and grains she gets at a local pet store. They are “family friendly” but usually have a favorite person. They do like to chew, on ropes, bars, feet, fingers, etc. So be careful and make sure guest know not to stick there finger in the cage. They’re not mean, but they play rough.
