Is the PediPaws Pet Nail Trimmer good, and safe to use on your dogs?

I just got a new dog, and her nails are sharp! I have some dog nail trimmers, but I have no idea how to use them, and I am afraid of hurting her.

Should I get the PediPaws Pet Nail Trimmer? Does it work good, and is it safe? If you have one, I would love to know what you think about it.

Yes it is.. But only if ur dog co-operates.. I use it on ‘dodo’ its my dogs name.. He acts dumb wen i trim his nails.. :)

PediPaws has gotten alot of mixed reviews on whether it actually trims the nails good. It’s very gentle and safe for your dogs. Your new pet may be a little rowdy at first because everything may be new to him/her. I used it on my dog and they couldn’t help but wiggle at first. I recomend a Dremer tool. It’s way easier, it’s safe, and cheaper. The PediPaws didn’t give me the result I really wanted. It left the nails… choppy-like. It also got a 2 out of 5 stars. I would say, avoid buying a PediPaws.

The battery is also very short, and it’s noisy.

Answer #4

it depends on the dog. We have one and I find it works great on our pug and Rottie/Shepherd, but the Chihuahua doesn’t like it one bit. I find its a lot safer to use them clipping them yourself as you can hit a vein with clippers. You can get them professionally clipped for about $10.

Answer #5

in my opinion they are useless beause you need to cut you dogs nails before you use it or else you will use loads of the sanding doofets. i just use a hobby grinder (:
