Why when I click on a question sometimes does it go to best answers instead of where I can type an answer?
The question may have been closed? Sometimes questions are closed early because they either have lots of good answers, or they have been asked a lot of times before.
this happened to me too. maybe its because someone has already asked a similar question to yours and there are answers as well.hope I helped
It could be the question was moved during the time you went to answer it…but, if that’s NOT the case…then we have another bug to work on :(
About an hour ago, we had some site performance issues, it could be as simple as that, eg, during a period of about 5 min, the site was more or less timing out, so nothing was posting.
PPSSST…questions aren’t closed in the new world order…that may change at some point, but for now, they aren’t :) Just fyi.
Its happened several times, but if I go back a while later it sometimes works.
