I just started using Firefox again, and I have no idea how to clear my cache on this browser. I only know how to clear the cache on Google Chrome.
so its browser specific.... the first thing id do would be to delete all history...
ctrl+shift+delete, select everything [timeline] and make sure all boxes are ticked.
after youve done that close the fox and reopen, see if its done the trick.
if it doesnt we'll have to enter into about:config and edit some entries
I clicked the "clear now" button, but nothing happened. My computer is being really slow right now, and it's brand new. It hasn't done this before, and I don't know what's wrong. :(
Angelee27@ i think you should download an older version of Mozilla firefox, because the newer version are a bit heavy and sometimes does not suite with the computer configuration.
When I try to scroll down, it will stall for a few seconds, pages take a bit longer to load, etc... It's usually really fast, but it just started doing this.
youve cleared your cache at least.
when you say slow what do you mean? slow to boot and shut down or just a all round general slowness to it?
Well, I restarted my computer a minute ago, and it's not doing it anymore. Do you think that fixed it?
Tools -> Clear Recent history -> Check only cache tick box and select Clear Now
if its not doing it anymore yes.... but its a diff prob now isnt it?
tools - options - advanced - network - clear now
