How can I clean my flat screen tv?

Will Windex be okay? I’m afraid of ruining it :)

I use windex on my flat screen without a problem. I just make sure the tv is off and I spray the windex on the cloth, not on the screen itself.

I would be wary about cleaning a flat screen tv with product. Usually when you purchase one they come with a soft towel almost like a sham…This should be used to remove any dust beforehand as to prevent dirt from scratching the screen as the sham will collect the dust with static. I just use a soft damp towel to remove any other junk. If your tv is a plasma or LCD DO NOT USE PRODUCT or it CAN RUIN the television… My girlfriend learned that the hard way.

Of course - I realized after that the TV I have may not be the same as the one moe has…silly me. My flat screen is a glossy one - not the matte…I think that makes a huge difference..thanks :)

I couldn’t think of the word matte… that’s what my screen is… :) Good thing I’m forgetful, I never cleaned it lol

all i do is run a damp sponge down it and if theres any water marks left i gently rub them off with a clean, dry t-shirt… so simple but does teh trick and does it great.
