How do we fix the TV remote?

Hi! My mom accidently pressed a button on our tv remote last night and now all there is a blank blue screen with a red key in the corner, and nothing will work! Not the remote, or even the buttons on the front of the tv. It’s just stuck on the blue screen with that annoying red key, we can’t even watch movies… What happened and how do we fix it? (It’s an Apex tv by the way.)

press the (function or F) button and the mute button at the same time this will unlock the screen
