what class do i need to take to get my learners permit?
i am 20 years old and i need to take a class to get my learner’s permit, but i don’t know what they are called, i know its not drivers ed because i keep calling them and explaining my situation, and i cannot take online courses because a.) i don’t know what they are called and b.) i get easily distracted online
I had taken the permit test back when i was 15 1/2 years old and failed, i was devastated, i retook the test when i was 17 and failed, in Virginia you have to wait about 2 weeks and some days before retaking it again, by that time i was 18. Now because i had never been fond of the dmv i tried to put it off a few years and now its catching up to me. I finally went back in july 2012, where i sat and waited for about 3 hours before finally getting to the desk where the person who assists everyone pulled up my record telling me that because i had failed 3 times after 2008 i could no longer take the permit test without taking a certain class. she gave me a pamphlet and sent me on my way… unforgettably since i was very upset about that i stomped out and got rid of those pamphlets…
Call your local BMV or bureau of motor vehicles they should be able to help
