What's an E-Cigarette?

Has anybody used one? I know a heavy smoker and am wondering if it would be a healthy and cost effective alternate to real cigarettes. And what’s the difference between the $30 cigarettes and the $200 ones???

It’s an electronic stick that produces nicotine-containing vapors that you can inhale. These are supposed to replace the cigarette smoke and help you to get away from cigarette addiction. Also they do not contain smut, because they evaporate a propylene glycol- or glycerin-based liquid solution into an aerosol mist. Some of them use heat, others use ultrasonics to produce the vapor out of the liquid.

According to the manufacturers of e-cigarettes, they are more healthy than normal smoking. Yet the e-ciggy is a relatively new invention and there are no results for any studies on long-term effects, yet.

Cody uses an e-cigarette. For your first question, it is like rotten sheep said, an electronic cigarette. My boyfriend uses one that he paid sixty dollars for. The difference between the $20 and the $200 or more pricier ones, are that the 21 dollar ones that you can get at most gas stations arent refillable, which can get very pricy. Cody got one from DFW vapors for sixty bucks, that he refills with a three-five dollar bottle of liquid. It looks like a small black box… people think it is an enhaler. It is healthier in a sense that you arent enhaling all of the nasty smoke from the burning leave and paper of a real cig.
