I completely agree with truebeleiverinchrist1, God will always give you a way out. He knows how much you can stand and will never give you more than you can handle. Remember this the next time you are in a sticky situation. As a teenager going to a public school there is a lot of temptation around and very hard to turn away. You know what is right so do the right thing. Yes when you sin ask God for forgiveness that’s right and God will forgive you. When you know something is wrong and you continue to do it thats when it gets ugly BUT God will always forgive you no matter what the sin and pray for understanding and help for what to do sometimes he will show his work in mysterious ways. For extra reinforcement look in the back of your bible there should be an index and look and see what your looking for and it should tell you what bible verses to go to for answers. Hope all this stuff helped :)

It’s not easy, I had a problem with temptation, I still do. I find that when you feel an urge just stop, calm down, think about it, what are the implictions if I do and most importantly pray. I hope you are better at following this advice then me. If you have a cross round your neck (like I do) touch it and you’ll feel calmer. P.S. I’ll pray for you tonight.

Answer #3

you shouldnt go through life listening to what other people tell you to do, and you should find out for yourself. find out what YOU think is right. its like politics, you wouldnt vote for someone unless you liked what they did, and who gives a fuck what other people tell you, its down to personal choice

Answer #4

everyone goes throught this and ull learn from it you can go to parties just not drink but you could still have fun

Answer #5

repentance is turning from sin and toward G-d. He gives you the ability romans chap. 6 and will not let us be tempted above what we are able to withstand 1 cor 10:13 . but you must be born-again with the Holy Spirit in you.john 3:5,6. how you do that is roman 10:9,10 . and yes bad influence will corupt you 1 cor. 15:33 .we will pray for you ,you trust in Christ and see what happens. He gave us power acts 1:8 ,the Holy Spirit and if you dont have His Spirit you are not His romans 8:9 hope this helped

Reading the word of God is only a part of the answer. You need the power of the Holy spirit in your life inorder to have the strength to refuse the temptations that Satan keeps throwing your way.You need to become a “true”disciple of Jesus Christs in order to receive the Holy spirit. And the true Remnant church is where you’ll find what you’re looking for.Start attending church on Saturdays at the nearest Seventhday Adventist Church to where you are.Talk to one of the pastors at the church, and ask for his help and guidance.
