Chicks hunting??

I would like to have all of your opinions on girl’s hunting, some of you may get offended and I am sorry for that. But it’s a way of life for some people and we hunt for food. But please tell me what you think of girls or women hunting?

Me 2! I love animals volenteer at a animal hospital, ride horses, and am part of many animal organizations! but still LOVE hunting! :p

Answer #2

I have hunted since the age of 12. I enjoy the outdoors, I have gotten deer with my bow, rifle, and shotgun. NOw the funny thing is about 2 years ago I started working for a vet hospital. So this past hunting season I did get a buck, but I felt so terrible pulling the trigger. So for me I don’t think at the age of 34 I will be hunting anymore. I don’t mind that people hunt and I am a meat eater. HOWEVER I am against animal cruelty and the way a animal is killed or kept before being killed. I understand it is a way of life and it keeps animal population under control

Answer #3

I’m 15 and have hunted with my parents my whole life. We do eat EVERYTHING we kill, and do NOT hunt just for fun. I often go out hunting with a bunch of the guys and have just as good a shot as any of them. (If not better :P ) & im under 100lbs and shoot a 12 gauge the same as my dad who is over 200lbs. So overall I think its no different for a girl to hunt then it is for any guy. Is there really any difference?

P.S I hunt deer, moose, duck, turkey, cotton tail/jack rabbit, goose and LOTS more!

Answer #4

I’ve been a country girl all my life, and I know a lot of girls that hunt. I agree with Jeremy, there’s nothing wrong with anyone hunting as long as it’s going to be used for food. Hunting for sport, in my opinion, is sick and cruel. I really don’t see how killing can be a fun game. My husband hunts whitetail deer every year, and is always trying to get me to get my license and come with him, but I’m not a killer. LOL This isn’t 1894 and I can buy my meat from a grocery store. But, if you hunt and you like to hunt and the animals are being used for food, go for it. I think it’s cool when girls hunt. :)

Answer #5

Yeah, exactly. I grew up in a small town and hunting is our way of life. I am one of the few females that hunts more the whitetail deer. But everything I shoot gets used, I can tell you that right now. I am usually stuck with all of the guys but that doesn’t mean I can’t keep up lol.

Answer #6

As long as they shoot better than the former vice president (duck) then I’m all for it…as long as it’s to eat not for sport.

Growing up…oh, boy, venison was some of the best meat I ever had, hunted fresh. However, those that hunt for sport should be beaten, imho, or hunted as they hunt animals…as most animals that are being hunted (or were) for sport face(d) extinction, endangerment, etc.

If you grow up in the county, I think it’s very hard to argue hunting for food is a problem.
