Who Thinks Aerial Wolf Hunting Is Wrong?

Aerial wolf hunting is when you use a Low flying plane in the winter to track wolves and shoot them from the planes, half the times the wolves don’t die on the first shot so they suffer a brutal death.

Answer #1

This practice is “hunting” at it’s worst. They might not be “allowed” to shoot the wolves from the air but this still happens and it happens after they chase the wolves to near exhaustion and then finish them off.

I always marvel at people who defend the most deplorable tactics used in wild animal overpopulation control yet they still are against spay/neuter laws that would support companion animal overpopulation.

In other words, I marvel that chasing a wolf over the snow to it’s death is fine but the mandatory spay/neuter of companion animals is horrible. I guess they figure a brutal death is better than never being conceived.

Answer #2

wilshide wolves have only been taking off the endangered list last year they’ve yearly wolf hunts in which pl hunt them for sport I doubt they’re population is in the desperate need to be kept in control if you ask me it’s humans who are in the much of desperate need besides, it is cruel to just shoot an animal and just let it suffer. Especially if the animals body will be wasted.

Answer #3

The only state in the union where it is legal to “spot” wolves from the air is Alaska…however, they must land the plane to track the wolf. They don’t shoot them from the airplane. (well, let’s say it’s not legal to do that, and if caught, they’ll be fined like any other hunter who doesn’t follow the rules, and lose their hunting priveledges.)

Answer #4

its not wrong at all. when they do this, it is almost always used to control population growth, not just to hurt the animals. they only do it from planes, so they won;t be physically harmed by the wolves themselves.

Answer #5

Of Course that’s wrong. That’s not hunting, it’s just killing animals. You might as well “hunt” domestic dogs.
