Car washes are fun. Sell something sweet at lunch that your school’s vending machines don’t offer, like little debbie snacks, movie candy, ect. Or just have a bake sale. Also, I heard about a highschool that is throwing a prom for random adults that want to relive the past and they are charging them an arm and leg to support the school prom.

Have a silent auction with only things from the teachers! For example, have a Chipotle/Qdoba lunch, a free homework pass, a break-the-dress-code day, and things like that! The things you auction off won’t cost you anything, so you can use all of the money towards the trips :)

Our school did a bingo night where people purchased 3 cards for $5.00. Each card was a strip of 3 bingo cards on it. The prizes were donated from local businesses who got free advertisement out of it not to mention they were supporting the school. At the same time, they did a silent auction for bigger donated prizes. It may be too late this year to do this, but might be an idea for future. It has been done every year at the same time and is a really big, fun family activity for the community.

Another thing you could do is a penny drive. This sounds really dumb, but those pennies really add up fast. Have everyone go to family, friends, neighbors, etc to collect them. For some reason, people don’t mind donating pennies.

Do chores for people, rake leaves, etc. for donations.

Hope this helps!
