tell them its important to have in case of emergencies and good to have to stay in contact with people

ask them to make a deal with you . for example: buy me one if my grades at school go up and I do everything you ask me to, and I am polite and respectfull. oh but bad news… I’m 13 and my parents wont buy me one.. I tried EVERYTHING.. but they just wont. dont push them to much . :)

Be like really good to them and not like suck up to them but like do every thing they ask and like then acadonaly ask about a cell phone or hint about one or just go up to them and ask…

Advise them you’ll be responsible with it - call when you’re supposed to call, on time, etc - make sure payments are made on time.

LOL offer to pay for it your self, they may not buy it for you but at least you have one. Oh and I guess the emergency thing works pretty well.

my parents didn’t get me one til they gave me a car. but if you go to peoples houses often tell them you need one in case you’re on the road with a friend and something bad happens. tell them you wont be crazy with it, like kill the minutes, or get online and kill the bill.
