Is it necessary to have a CCTV security system?

Is it necessary to have a CCTV security system within my home or does this just depend on the type of home and area in which I reside?

You don’t necessarily need a CCTV security system in your home, as you say, unless you live in a dodgey area… but I’d say a burglar alarm is fine, unless you feel that you’d be worried and paranoid without the extra security. =)

Why not still put in “dummy” cams. That way you can at least avoid any burglars targeting your house and those cams are cheap

There are many people puts the dummy camera on there home which is not Good. I think we all need security and we get with the best CCTV camera.
