What could be causing my period to act like this?

I know, this is one of those “too much info” situations, but I’m seriously perplexed. I’m on the pill, so most of my periods may last a total of 5 days, and they’re really light. I’m now on day TEN with this one, and it’s been fairly heavy. Anyone ever had this? Any logical reasons? I assume stress could be a partial cause, but this is ridiculous.

Wow… ten days? I’d go insane.. Normally, that could be caused by stress, but since you’re on the pill, that could play a part in it, too. I would definitely talk to your doctor about it. I’ve never been on the pill, but mine are always irregular.. one month it will last 2 days, another it will last 12-14… it all depends on how lucky I am. :)
