Cat scratching the carpet
Help! New cat’s tearing up my carpet. I’ve got those scratching post things on both levels of my house, one’s a rope material, the other’s this weird cloth material, but she just wants to tear at the carpet. I don’t want to spray or use too much discipline (wouldnt hesistate with my other cat) because she’s so terrified of me.
if you dicipline it it will give you more respect also just spray it and tell it in a firm voice no then 5 minutes later give it attention trust me I have a act who did the same thing as your cat but now he is loves up to me because he gives me respect.
Use the squirt bottle…it’s not going to affect her feelings about you, only how she feels about the bottle…
