my cat came in the house 2 days ago .

she has been missing for 3 days from before she meowed and barley moved . just laid down . i checked her weight and noticed shes down about 2 kilo’s she was near 5 her bones are showing and she seemed unable to move she is drinking water but not eating , i force feed her a little that seemed to help her get on her feet and she is grooming i am feeding her 3 times a day in small amounts both meat and dry food for her . she seems to be recovering somehow i placed a litter box to monitor her poop i checked her entire body her ass is clean . no toothache no scratches or wound of any kind her eyes are good and normal her claws are clean her fur is also good . not falling or to dirty she is dewormed but the only problem is she has fleas but she had them for a while and i am working on getting her treated , can it be the cause ? i noticed she had been bullied by a another cat but that was also a while back could this be a mood related ? and i examined her and her body is perfectly healthy how do i detect anything from the inside ? other than checking her crap

I would take her to the vet just in case like 2 days is a long time. There is alot she could have been doing those 2 days

i know that i a contacted a vet he told me to give her half a pill of optalgin

and really guys if i COULD she would have been at a vet’s office already

ppl who just reply with (take her to a vet .. blabla .. ) really bug me please dont do that ..

She sounds like she’s on the mend….however, those fleas can depete engergy, especially if she’s loaded with them. DO TREAT the fleas, with a Vet recommended flea treatment (Fronline, or Advantage or one of the other ones)…

You’re doing a good job of watching her, so keep that part up….until it’s really obvious that she’s on the mend.

thank u for replying i am still afraid because she is not gaining back her weight yet .. and do u know how to tell if any of her organs are defected as in her kidney and such? i am getting her treated tomorrow btw
