What do I do to take care of my scraped knee?

that works for large ones too, right? this one takes up my entire knee and is red around it, but my husband says that its gonna be red

Clean it with disinfectant wipes or liquid. Put some neosporin. Put a bandage on it? If it’s a deep cut, you need to see a doctor to prevent an infection. If you scra.ped it on metal you need to see a doctor incase of tetanus. If it in anyway looks bad, consult a doctor.

Are you worried about infection?

How did you scrape it? I remember from playing softball that when the girls got scraped knees, they used to clean it well (use a soft brush - it hurts like hell) and then put on some anti bacterial cream or lotion to make sure that it doesn’t get infected. Pretty simple. Also leave it open as much as you can, that way it heals quicker.

is it deep?

fell down outside on rocks and gravel, andi have been doing that, but it hurts >_<

yeah you could say i am worried, but thats just me, i worry over things i really shouldn’t and no, it aint deep. i just tend to let my anxiety get to me >_<

it’s ok, my best friend is a hypochondriac, i’m used to worry. Anything yellow, green, just abnormal colors is a bad sign, if it doesnt stop hurting that’s also not good, otherwise, you’re probably fine.

probably, its scabbed over now, apparently the saying the older you are the harder you fall, and i haven’t scraped up my knee since i was a kid, i think, im 20 now
