What car insurance company offers the lowest rates?

I am 19 years old and a guy, so that means my insurance is very expensive.. I live in Pennsylvania. And I am looking to get a small sedan. I want collision coverage under my plan and anything else can be basic or minimum. I don’t want to spend more then $120 a month if possible.. Please Help???

Thing is, none of them offer the best rate for everybody. Each company has a standard ‘risk profile’ they specialize in and within that risk profile, they will offer the best rates - outside of that profile, they won’t offer the best rates.

The only way to ensure you get the best rate is to call a few companies - eg, esurance, geico, state farm, farmers, progressive, eastwood, etc - and then get a quote from all of them. Progressive (in their TV ads) will give you rates from a few other companies, so maybe start there then check with the other ones.

As Jeremy said its best to call around a lot.
But for me the best I found was Farmers Union. I’m 24 with 3 accidents and a speeding ticket under my belt and my premium came in at about $250 every 6 months. Other 3 or 4 places I checked where about double that. Other thing to keep in mind is the service of the insurance company. I haver very rarely heard bad things about State Farm, but they are a bit more expensive than most.
From what I have heard I would stay away from Geico - several people I have talked to have had a REALLY hard time getting paid from them.

What I did when I was shopping for new insurance is ask around my friends and family what they have used and what the impressions of the company were. Then I compared that against the quote I got form different companies. Farmer’s Union had the best price and good recommendations from my grandparents and my parents. Plus my agent knows my grandparents very well.

There’s no shortcut. You’ll just have to get car insurance quotes from the different insurance providers and comparison shop. Check the biggies like Progressive, Geico, The Hartford, and All State.

Insurance60 is the best company that offers a lowest rate. It has the cheap auto insurance quote. Visit their site for more information http://funadvice.com/r/151suhstn1l

Honestly, Progressive quoted me something like $400 / month for two cars (and we both have great driving records) – switched to Geico, and now pay $97/month. I’d use a site that will give you quotes from multiple companies once you fill out all your details (that’s what I did, and I saved BIG).

Try something generic – not company sponsored. I used http://funadvice.com/r/152dgs09rrc – third - party and not affiliated with any car insurance co.

Nobody knows about car insurance companies any better than body shops that have to deal with them. which are the least trouble when settling claims and paying for proper repairs. If you are interested to buy a new car then this link (tatasafari.org) helps you to buy a car in your budget.
