Why does my car continue to shake? when I stop or when the car is in park?

I have new brakes, new tires, new rotors. I just got an oil change. My steering wheel shakes & vibrates when I have the car in park or in reverse or when I am stopping at a red light. I have a Honda Accord 1998 thanks for the help!

not sure if this is it, but your RPM’s might be too high. this happened with my boyfriends car. when it was in park it would shake, so he took it in and they adjusted the RPM thing. it still shakes a little but not as bad as before.

May be because the engine is still not fully stop moving http://ilovegoodbags.6te.net/

Sounds like the engine has a “miss”. Check for a loose spark plug wire (both ends) make sure they are snapped on tightly. The next thing I would check is to make sure the idle is right and not too low. A new fuel filter would be in order too since it’s a 98”, it could be the original one and is bound to be getting plugged up by now.

thanks alot will have it checked out asap, do you think it could be that it need a wheel alignment?
