Can you hide a lip piercing / snake bites?

Thats sad of you. piercing so your girlfriend likes you more. I have anose ring and I have to take it out. its ugly and unproffesional.

dont get it done if your just trying to please her you need to make sure you actually want to holes in your lip first if you dont, she should understand you can get clear peircings, some jobs will and wont allow them though and you need to wait at least 3 months before you change them yes, they are considered unprofesional in a lot of jobs and a lot of jobs wont allow them, unless you take them out and put them in later on but if you dont want to affect your job and career dont get them done, unless its for yourself and its something you realy want because facial peircings are to noticable to be able to hide

I have snakebites, my nose pierced, my septum, 7 ear piercings, and 14 dermal piercings. Snakebites are extremely hard to cover up. Clear rings usually don’t do the trick although there are the kinds with the stud itself, and a clear ring to keep in in place. If you have them pierced for awhile taking them out for a few hours wont make them close. I’ve had mine done for going on 4 years and I’ve left them out for a few weeks and they don’t close. The only facial piercing that is extremely easy to hide is your septum, all you have to do is flip it up. But if you plan on your career to be taking off within a couple weeks of getting snakebites, I wouldn’t recommend that you get them done because they turn red and swell a tad and you shouldn’t change the ring you have in for about a month or two after getting it done. I think you shuld just get the smallest ones and get clear studs or something so that they won’t really show and its cute how you mite get it for your girl…

if you do get them, and wait long enough so you CAN change the rings you should be able to get retainers. retainers are like an invisible ring that makes them hard to see to the human eye.

try that and see how it works :D

btw, I think snake bites are attractive to and I think its adorable for the reason why your getting them, ! (:

Perhaps if you switched it around so the flat side was facing out, then colored it with a skin colored marker and/or cut off the sticky part of a band aid and stuck that on, feigning an injury, it might just work out okay.

Although I dont have my snake bites done, I only have my left hand side pierced… Theres one easy way to cover it. Is when you get it pierced, get a stud with a ball on the end, Then a couple of hours later I know it hurts but take it out quickly and put the piercing in the other way around so that the flat side is facing the outer lip. Then it makes it possible to cut out a tiny square of skin coloured plaster. & cover the flat ring. It hurts abit, but does really work and hides it for awhile (= I say go for it ! its cool (:

Well it depends, if you get rings, then I don’t know but if you get studs then you get this thing called Bioflex labret studs. they are clear and the tips can pop out and popin rather than the typical screwing on. So after you are able to change the jewelry you can put a bioflex bar in and just take out the out ball part and you are just left with the bar. you can also cut the bar down depending on what size lips you have, so it won’t stick out. hope this helps! ^_^ and snakebites are really hot!!!

Get the cleat studs and cut them shorter so that they barley fit in the hole that way when you smile they wont poke out :) than you can always put cover up that matches your face on the tip of the clear stud and it should hide it fairly well I had snake bites for a year and my work never noticed. I hope that helps and your chick is going to love sucking on them haha

Well… Depending on your skin type and quality along with healing rate. If its like mine, I have three ear piercings for example and you would never see the hole cause I heal fast and theres always an extremely extremely thin coating so that withen 18 hours or so after I take them out so most people never notice a hole unless your like… Peering at my ear or something odd. Or you see me with one of them in. But if you cant heal like this then maybe get the thinnest ones you can get and use them to minimize the hole as much as possible? Hope I helped.

I don’t have snakebites although I do have the right of my lip done..just a tip…it’s going to swell up your lip and it’s horrible! worst part is that it stays like that for about a week! eek!

Ultimately your answer would be- yes, but no..you can easily get a small enough bar to put it in, depending on the career, you may have to take them out daily..in which case there is no easy way to hide the holes. sorry!

I’m going to pierce my lips, [snake bites, && I’m going to get the 18 gauge, that’s about the smallest ones, so when I where the spacers, you can’t see them. Because there is no way in hell my parents would allow me to get smake bites, sooo, imma be creative && get spacers. it should workk. :]]

what extremely helpful for me (im 16 and piercings are strongly banned in my home), when im just downstairs with my parents or whatever, if you have studs, just take off the front ball so its just the bar. granted, you cant really talk and eating is out of the question but its helpful.

I think it’s really nice that you’re considering doing this for your girlfriend. I personally think lip piercings are extremely attractive, I just got mine done 2 days ago. As far as showing, you can’t really take them out for a while, or they’ll heal up. So theres no quick fix to being able to hide them =[ None that I’m aware of though. And it does make your lip swell up, so it looks like you’re pouty for a while xD And theres also no kissing while they’re healing. Kissing, oral sex, swimming, drugs, smoking, and alcohol are off limits for 6-8 weeks so keep that in mind too. If you decide to get them I wish you the best of luck with getting around your job! I dont think you’d regret them, so long as your situation with your job can tolerate them =]
