Can I give benadryl to the dog?

Answer #1

Yes, you can give Benadryl to dogs.

Answer #2

I am not a vet but have spoken with the vet on this same issue / yes you can give a dog benadryl. The dosage is normally 1mg per lb of a childrens type of benadryl. Childrens is recommended because they do not mix other ingredients. DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG ITEMS “CONTAINING” BENADRYL because of possible contridictions. DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG BENADRYL IF THEY ARE TAKING OTHER MEDICATIONS. ALWAYS CHECK WITH A VET FIRST…

Answer #3

Consult your local vet.
