Can I carry a pocket knife onboard an airplane?
According to a news item on NPS ffrom December 22, 2005, you actually can. Of course, you could not have from the resumption of flights after 9/11/01 until 12/22/05. And I haven't tried it since then. Check out the interview with TSA director Kip Hawley:
