hi guys, sorry if its long. well 2 fridays ago I was playing american footbal with some mates and I crashed into a guy and our heads cracked,I broke his nose (by accident) and then I went to the floor and I hit my head off of the ground too, I was in agony... a few minutes later I could stand up and I walked off with my mates holding my head...it started to bleed, but only the slightest amount, it stopped really quickly, the next day I had a really sore head and a massive bump where I hit my head, I couldn't do anything without it hurting me,now its been a while and I havn't gone to the doctors, I was easily told I had a concussion, I just relaxed over the weekend (this past weekend) bc it was still real sore..I'm getting headaches and I'm really sleepy and I have mostly all the usual symptoms of a concussion, then yesterday I was up a flight of stairs in my house (I was homealone) and I felt so dizzy, I moved my foot to put it on the first stp bt I missed it (stupid me,I no) and I fell all the way down them..head first..I hit my sore bit on my head.. LONG STORY SHORT I have a really sore head and paracetamol and pills like that arn't working, you guys got any ideas? my friends worried about me..I don't want her to be.. I'm ok..I think..what should I do?
If you won't listen to people w/ no training who are giving you very smart, intelligent advice dear---then, would you pls listen to a nurse?
As everyone has been telling u, you need to see a Dr. Not only could you have a concussion (a severe one) you could possibly have a "brain bleed"---which could also be causing the headaches, sleepiness, and dizziness. This could potentially be life threatening if not corrected.
you need to be seen in the ER, have xrays and probably an MRI as well. It could only a heavy-duty noggin' throbbin" bump, but as I said previously--it could be much worse. Pls have someone drive you to the ER, do NOT attempt to drive urself as you are having dizziness. Hope all turns out to be ok!
I told you to contact the island doctor with your mum, right? if it's been days, almost a week that you still feel the same, she should've understood that there's somethin really wrong with your condition.. you're makin me worry again, andy...
