well there is something that happens to me every now and then when I sleep.

I lay there and then when I wake up, its like if im half asleep half awake.

I can see with my eyes, but I cant move, I cant talke, cant breathe, just watch.

last time (in my mind I hope) I saw this wierd dark creature hiding behind the sofa staring at me.

I was watching in fear and scared out of my pants, and I was trying to wake up from the paralysis. I couldnt though. but I realized it was probabbly a dream so it took me a while to try to wake myself up.

as soon as I did wake up I got up looking for the thing but it was gone. so im guessing its just my mind playing tricks on me.

hell of a fright though, and it happens like atleast once a month.

you feel the fear nad adrenaline running through your viens, but once you wake up, the adrenaline rush is gone. its very odd…

To you I would suggests a doctor but maybe you have something just smilar to what athleta4life posted? I have heard of the one that athleta4life has described it. And actually it has happened to me to. I read about it in Carl Sagan’s (yes the scientist who did Cosmos) book the Demon Haunted World. People would wake up and they would have hallucinations auditory or visual or both. I had only auditory ones. And also you can not move. The more you try to fight it the more it last longer but if you just relax it goes away faster. I think if I remember correctly you can not move because of something released into your body(maybe some chemical) so you do not act out your dreams(and I guess that means so you don’t sleep walk) and injure or even kill yourself (and others), Carl Sagan talked about it as being a possibility for an explanation for the many reports of succubus and any other reports of sexual activities with demons.

It sounds neurological, and you should see a doctor immediately. Those symptoms can probably mean a lot of things, but only a doctor can advise you properly. I don’t think Funadvice is the place to be looking for medical advice.

Go see your medical doctor. Do not resort to an exorcist or any of that new age psychozephrenia explanations and remedies.
