This is for a story...again. Also, to describe this demon more, her name is Hella and she only feeds on human, demon and animal's blood. Mostly demon and animal's blood. And in the story, one of my characters ends up having a curse which is having Hella inside of her forever. But I just want to know what type of demon Hella can be. She is definately not a succubus! Someone help!
the first demoness that came to my mind was ' THE MORRIGAN'. she is one of 3 war goddesses , she is also the mighty queen viewed either as the triple goddess or the or the death aspect of the goddess. in legend the morrigan protected the tuatha de danaan with a cover of fog and rain so that their boats could land upon the shore of ireland. on battlefields she appears as a raven or scald crow, eating the bodies of the dead. she could present a winsome side that hid her secret intentions of destroying someone, or she could be openly vengeful .
you could possibly have a demon that is the daughter of an incubus and the morrigan, which should give you the type of demon you are seeking.
the hard part here is that the majority of demons more or less can not harm the living, and the few that can are pretty much specialists and from different regions of the world. i will look in my necronomicon and see if maybe i can find an old sumerian demon for you out of the 50 names of marduk.
i looked all through my demon book and the morrigan is pretty much the best one, there is a male demon that licks the soles of its victims feet and drains them of blood, but that didn't fit with what you were looking for. the morrigan can kill and devour dead flesh, and can be murderous.

I believe that maybe evil spirits can come in different forms or whatever but I'd still call it a demon or evil spirit...
so a morrigan demon is a soul demon? I wonder if there is a name for a demon that only feeds on blood?
