Who has ever been to a cake decorating class?

I’m going to one tonight with mama aunt pam and my cousin Ross(a guy) and i’ve never been. so I’m dragging Ross with me to make him suffer.

I have been to several, and ive also taught them later on. Ive been decorating cakes professionaly for over 5 years now, when the bakery i workd at closed down i started doing them out of my home and teaching classes to make some extra cash. The classes teach you good basics, but experience, time, practice, and creativity is what really teaches you because you never know what type of request you will get. ive seen some of them :) They were really good! We are taking the class to learn how to work with fondant and how to make the icing on a cake look really pretty and that sort of stuff!

I haven’t been to a class, but as a pastry chef, we had classes in culinary school.

i have - for a summer program :) ummm… i don’t know if you’re familiar with Michael’s craft store, but that’s where i got to go - two summers ago!! it’s pretty fun if you have the heart for art! it brings out the creativity in you!
